Fr. Boris Ignatievsky when questioned whether the Russian Orthodox Church condones pedophilia

Last night I confronted the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church and its Australian diocese when they met for the annual diocesan assembly at the Russian Orthodox Church of Saint Peter and Paul in Strathfield.

A number of Priests were confronted when entering the Church in regard to the heinous crimes that were committed by Alexis Rosentool whom has since been convicted of pedophilia.

The Church continues to orchestrate a protection program for Alexis Rosentool and refuses to condemn such heinous crimes. The Church now functions with a cult like behaviour with Church luminary, Bill Konstanidis instructing priests and parishioners not to speak to media or journalists regarding Alexis Rosentool.

The Church is yet to formally apologise to victims or to confront this tragedy with a sincerest and genuine intent and continues to refuse to condemn the criminality that was perpetrated against innocent children.

Fr. Boris Ignatievsky was suspended in July 2025 after he delivered a scandalous sermon instructing his parishioners not to judge paedophile priests.
